Featured Student Anastasia and her “Cocoa Loco” Cake

Anastasia Light brought in her first creation, “Cocoa Loco Cake”. Anastasia says that she would like to create her own cookbook. Her cake featured a giant chocolate chip cookie crust with white and chocolate cake layers, and the center filled with a surprise center section of pink strawberry cake. It was topped with white frosting and mini chocolate chip cookies.

Anastasia lamented that her cake was difficult to cut because the heavy cookie crust, which was difficult for a knife to break through. The cake however was delicious and it received ‘two thumbs up’ from the Genius Hour crew…
